Video Transcript for Let’s Check Out the Camco RV Replacement Plumbing Vent

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Camco RV Replacement Plumbing Vent in Colonial White, part number CAM40132. This will allow you to replace a damaged plumbing vent on your RV or camper with this original factory replacement. Now up here at the top of our camper, you can see that we have our previous vent cap and then the new Camco replacement RV vent cap. You can see that this is identical to the one that we have. If by chance the top piece is broken off of your RV . For example, if those pins here are broken off, and you want to replace the bottom section as well, all of the caulk is going to have to come off. You'll take the existing screws and replace them, and then you'll re-caulk it and provide a watertight seal. Now, because it is two pieces, if by chance the top piece gets lost or broken, Camco does make a separate replacement top piece, part number CAM40034.

You could see that here there's a hole, and then a plastic piece here. What you would do is, you would just put a screw through here, and it's going to penetrate this plastic and go down into this hole here. What that's going to do is just going to help create a more tight and secure connection to the two pieces. Now this does fit 1-inch up to 2 3/8-inch vent piping.
