Hello, neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at a B&B RV Multi-Purpose Hatch with a nice flat back on it, and it's lockable and it's a polar white color. So folks, a nice locking molded plastic hatch will give you exterior access for your RV's need. So the compartment wall could be drilled out potentially, or you could just use it to store small items. Now the hatch flange does secure to the exterior wall with the supply of butyl tape and screws.
The screws I like, they've already pre-painted 'em all. That's why I went ahead and faced 'em that way so you can see the paint there. And as far as butyl tape, if you've never used it and you don't know what it is, it's a pretty simple, it's like a putty in nature. It's gonna be water resistant. And basically you'll put that on the flat part around the cutout, you'll push it in place and then from this side you'll put the screws through and the screws are gonna go right through the butyl tape into the wall of the RV and secure it and cinch it down and give you a nice weatherproof seal.
It has a nice one year warranty. Now as far as the cutout dimensions and everything here on the back, I was getting right about five and seven eighths by right about four and three quarter inches. And as far as the overall dimensions, about seven and five eighths long by six and a half tall. The depth here I was getting right at about two inches. I know that's upside down, but I was getting right about two inches.
As you can see, it is lockable, comes with one key that matches up to the lock here and you got your inside, like I said, about two inches deep inside of there. So you got some good space there again, or you can cut out the back part and have a nice access port. Now folks, the plastic itself is nice. It's not gonna fade. It's been UV stabilized, it's not gonna fade, it's gonna resist road salt, grime, stuff that gets thrown up on the road, all that kind of stuff.
And it is NSF, CSA and TEI certified. Again folks, nice one year warranty. This is the B&B RV Multi-Purpose Hatch. I'm Steven, thanks for watching and have a great day.
Happy to have it.

Good product, fast shipping
Looks like a fine access door. I have yet to install it but the unit seems complete. Just what I needed.
The door itself was good quality. The lock used was of poor quality, using only a cheap clip to hold it in place. The lock would not hold the top of the door closed, which would let the tv tires throw water right into the compartment the door was attached to. Purchased another lock that used a nut to hold the lock securely in place and the door is now closed properly.
