Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this RX300 Fixed Mount Leg Set for your Rhino Rack high roof racks. Now this is going to be a set of two fixed mount legs that are designed to serve as the connection point between a vehicle's fixed roof, mounting locations and compatible Rhino Rack crossbars or Pioneer platform. So instead of clamping around a doorframe or raised rail, these legs use the vehicle's designated mounting points, giving the rack system a direct and stable attachment to the roof. Of course, you do want to go through our vehicle fit guide to make sure that these are going to work specifically for your vehicle.
But this is going to mainly be for someone who already has or is putting together a Rhino Rack system on a vehicle with those compatible fixed mounting points. This is going to work with existing Rhino Rack RCP fit kits and can be used with several Rhino Rack systems, including Vortex, the Heavy Duty, Sports, Recon, and then the Pioneer platforms. The legs are rated for up to 220 pounds, but, you know, that doesn't automatically mean you can put 220 pounds on every vehicle. The vehicle's manufacturer's roof load limit and the capacities of the other rack components still have to be followed, so be aware of that. The lowest applicable rating that determines what the complete setup can safely carry.
Rhino Rack also states that these legs have been static and city crash tested to ISO 11154 standards.
