Roller shutter channels and canopy tracks need stable mounting points before crossbars or platforms are installed. This cast aluminum RCP base kit mounts Rhino-Rack bars and Pioneer platforms with included installation hardware.
Roller shutter channels and canopy tracks need mounting points that match the rack system sitting above them. This RCP base kit creates mounting locations for Rhino-Rack Vortex, Sportz, Reconn-Deck bars, and Pioneer platforms (sold separately), giving tonneau covers and canopy roof tracks a secure foundation for rooftop cargo systems.
Installing roof rack bases across canopy tracks and roller shutter channels requires matching hardware and pads at every mounting point. This complete hardware kit helps you mount all four bases without tracking down separate pads, washers, bolts, or gaskets. The matched mounting hardware helps simplify roof rack installation across tonneau cover and canopy track systems.
Please follow each specific kit's instruction manual to ensure the correct fastener components are used for a specific fitment.

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack base kit. It's an essential starting point for building a secure and reliable roof rack system on your vehicle. Now this base kit is designed to mount again directly to your vehicle's roof, and then it's gonna create a solid attachment point for the Rhino-Rack legs and crossbars that are sold separately. So this is literally the foundation that everything else in your rack system is gonna depend on, and it's been engineered for a vehicle specific fit so make sure you take the fit guide.
The RCP kit lines up with factory model locations, or approved install points on the roof line. So that's gonna help make it a quicker, easier, stable connection without guessing. Now this has been built from corrosion-resistant materials. As you can see, it's a heavy duty plastic. And then of course, you have your hardware here and everything.
So this has been made to handle long-term exposure to those elements, so obviously rain, snow, sleet, et cetera, outdoor conditions. And then once you have this installed, it's gonna work seamlessly with the compatible Rhino-Rack components. Again, so you can add crossbars, platforms, and accessories, whether it's cargo boxes, bikes, overland gear, and this will also help keep a low profile and it's not going to mess up your roof line, scratch anything or anything like that. So again, folks, a great starting point for your roof rack build. As always, reach out to us here at etrailer.
We can help you find anything else you need or that you're looking for. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
