Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Flair-It PEXLock Straight Valve Stop Fitting with the half inch PEXLock Clamps. Now, this is a straight valve stop that'll connect pipes in your RV freshwater plumbing system. This can be used for repairing leaky connections or installing new lines. It is designed to work with the PEX pipes, the (indistinct) tubing, and the IAPMO approved polyvinyl pipe.
Gives you a half inch crimp connections. Using these PEXLock clamps means you don't need to use any specialized tools for a secure fit. Did wanna pop up an insert to show you how there's some tubing that connects to the stop valve, and you can see they use these crimp connections here to connect it. They are reusable. Basically, what'll happen is, if you notice their design on them, they have a clamp design.
So when you do push this together with pliers, it'll clamp around that tubing and hold it into your connection. And then, to release it, there's a little line right here. You just put a screwdriver in there and twist your screwdriver, and it'll pop it open so you can release the connection and then reuse it again. Now, these are durable fittings. They are reinforced to prevent any cracks from the stress.
Now, on the valve itself, when you see that handle, it's in the perpendicular position. That means that valve's closed. When you turn it a quarter of a turn, puts it in a parallel. That means that opens it up and lets it flow through. And that turns it off just like that.
But that's gonna do it for the review on the Flare-It PEXLock Straight Valve Stop Fitting with the half inch PEXLock Clamps.
Super easy to install and of good quali ty.
