Nice, Bold look. DYI installedFirst let me say the instructions are terrrible. I say again terrible. Do yourself a favor and watch etrailer's video on the install. The mounting brackets need to be marked for driverside or passengerside, front or back. They are not marked which can create a little frustration. Other than that they look great on my 2007 Ram 2500 4x4 crew cab. They are also strong. I'm 275 lbs and they handle my weight perfectly. Wife and kids love them. Purchased December 2009

Just be aware these are specifically for the 1500 and 2500 LD. If you have the 2500 HD or 3500, you will need the Westin Oval Tube Steps w/ Custom Installation Kit - 4" - Polished Stainless Steel # 22-5020-1065. It sounds to me like you have a 2004 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab like you have said. Will Nerf Bars from a 2004 Chevy Silverado Fit a 2004 Chevy Tahoe
It is possible that the nerf bars themselves are the right length or close to the right length but the 2004 Chevy Silverado and 2004 Chevy Tahoe require different installation brackets to attach the bars to the vehicle. The nerf bars from a 2005 Chevy Extended cab would fit only extended cab models up to 2013. For a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 double cab, I've linked the page to all your options. Will Westin Tube Steps from 2009 Chevy Silverado Fit 2014 Chevy Silverado
In 2014 the Silverados underwent a generation change so a tube step from a 2009 model would not fit a 2014. For your 2014 Double Cab Silverado 1500 you would want the part # 22-5020-2015 which is a fit. In 2014 they started calling the extended cabs double cabs.
