I have had this product on my truck for 1 year. The truck has been driven in the winter minimally and the truck is washed religiously. The steps have already developed surface rust on the tops of the steps. The steps do not have scratches or any blemish where the rust has started. The quality of the paint or metal material is no of good quality to already start rusting. I would not recommend these steps.
I purchased the wrong item initially but one etrailer rep helped me find the correct part and another sent me a return label for the original order. I will use etrailer again.
