Most ladder racks don't work with a tonneau cover. This kit pairs the JayBar ladder rack with the Pro roll-up tonneau cover on the same Fas-Top rail system, so ladders and lumber ride above your bed while the cover stays fully usable below.
Most tonneau covers and ladder racks aren't designed to be used together. They mount in the same area along the bed rails, so once one is installed, the other won't fit. That's usually not obvious until you're already into the install. At that point, it becomes clear the second piece can't mount where it needs to. Now you're either loosening clamps and pulling parts back off, or accepting a setup that doesn't fit how you use your truck.
This kit avoids that by using a shared rail system that's built to handle both pieces. The Fas-Top Pro roll-up cover and JayBar ladder rack install together on the same rails, so you're not dealing with fit conflicts later.
Once both are installed, the cover and rack don't interfere with each other. The cover opens and closes the same way it does on its own, without the rack blocking that movement. When you need full bed access, the cover rolls up and secures behind the cab. When the bed is covered, ladders and long items still ride above it on the rack. You're not adjusting hardware or working around the rack just to open or close the cover.
The Fas-Top system uses built-in rails with top and side channels that give accessories a place to mount without interfering with the cover or rack.
The JayBars handle long cargo on their own, but some loads need more than a flat surface. Side bars (FT45GJ - sold separately) give items like gas cans and recovery gear a place to mount along the sides of the rack and serve as attachment points for other Fas-Top accessories. They're sold in pairs, but you can add more and your collection of accessories grows.
The same side rail system works with a Solo or Traveler soft topper (FT69EV and FT65RV - sold separately), which attaches to the tonneau cover side rails when you want to enclose the bed. This cover stays installed while you add full-bed coverage.
G-Hook Straps (FT65YJ - sold separately) hook directly into the rack and accessories, letting you roll up the sides of the Fas-Top truck topper and secure them out of the way. This gives you quick access to the bed and lets the topper function as a sunshade when you are parked.
Fas-Top tie-downs (FT25YJ - sold separately) add fixed anchor points on the rack, giving your straps a consistent place to pull from instead of wrapping around bars wherever they happen to fit.
The Gripstix cargo grabber (FT52YJ - sold separately) gives you a way to load, lift, and move items in your truck bed without climbing in or overreaching.
Large and small cargo bags (FT72AB and FT75YJ - sold separately) keep items contained so they're not rolling around in your truck bed or getting lost under larger gear.
