Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our MORryde tailgate reinforcement with the heavy-duty hinges for your Jeep Wrangler JLs. That's right, folks, this is a custom-fit application. Make sure you're checkin' our fit guide here at etrailer.com. Top center of the homepage, enter things like your make a model where it says, "My vehicle," to ensure you're gettin' the right parts for your Jeep the first time. Now, folks, this does support, the support frame, rather, will reinforce your tailgate to be able to handle extra weight such as an oversized spare tire.

It's gonna work with tire diameters between 37 and 40-inches in diameter. The hinge dimensions here are about 12 7/16" long, about an 1 11/16" tall, and 3 5/8" wide. The whole kit here when assembled weighs about 32 pounds, has a nice one year warranty, It is made here in the US. It's a simple installation, you simply pull off your existing spare tire carrier on the back of your Jeep and you bolt this on. No drilling whatsoever required.

Everything's a heavy duty hardened steel with a nice elegant black powder-coat finish on it. Now the heavy-duty hinges here do provide support for the MORryde tailgate accessories, such as a spare tire carrier. Now that spare tire carrier is sold separately, it's item number MR88DR, and I'll throw that up on the screen for you as well. And if you choose to get that, that would look something like this when it's fully installed with this kit. Now keep in mind, in that image, you got your third brake light there on top, that is something you would already have on the Jeep itself.

Now again, folks, a nice product here, by MORryde. Let me slide this over so I can show you a closeup of the hinges now. So everything here is just kind of loosely fit it together. Obviously, this would be bolted to your Jeep. And let me step outta the way here so you can see that hinge better.

So this heavy-duty hinge is super thick, it's about 1/4" thick hardened steel. Obviously, it's gonna be able to hinge in and out whenever you're usin' it. So a very nice product, very nicely made, heavy-duty, It's gonna do what you need it to do on the Jeep. And again, handle that spare tire and extra weight and support your tailgate so you don't have to worry about tailgate sag, or fatigue and that kind of stuff.
