Today we're going to take a look at the Curt 600 Series Gooseneck Installation Kit for Ford trucks. This is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1980 to 1997 Ford F100, F150, F250 and the F350 trucks with and without overload springs. Now for this video, I've attached the side plates to the cross members to give you an idea of what this would be together and underneath your truck. Now this kit will include all the necessary components for installation of Curt underbed gooseneck hitches on specific pickup truck models. It will work with the Curt Double Lock Flip and Store Gooseneck Hitch, the Curt Quick Goose 2 Gooseneck Hitch, the Curt Underbed Folding Gooseneck Hitch.
Those hitches we do sell separately on our website. This is a vehicle specific design, so it does optimize the strength and installation time. It is constructed of a high-strength steel. All these parts are protected by a rust resistant liquid bond inaudible 00:00:56 coating. It does include the grade 8 mounting hardware to install it. It has a nice set of detailed instructions that describe how to install it.
Your gooseneck hitch will fit right in here and bolt to these holes on the cross members. There is no welding or frame drilling required, and the truck bed does not have to be removed for installation. This part is made in the USA, and the weight capacity on this installation kit is determined by that of the vehicle you're going to put it on.
