Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna talk about the WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats in our 2023 Kia Sportage. Now there's gonna be a great option for you if you wanna keep the inside of your car clean, whether you're coming in from a lot of snow or you have a lot of dirt and mud on your boots that you don't want getting inside your car. So let's take a closer look at them. Installing them is pretty easy. All you have to do is line it up with the floor of your car, and you'll notice we have this hole at the back end.
We just wanna line up that hole with this notch at the bottom. Once it's lined up, all you have to do is push down on it, it'll seat in place. And we can take a closer look at how it sits in here. What I really like is how these side walls hug the contours of our car, so it's gonna be less likely if anything falls between these cracks. Now there's a little bit of a gap right here, but nothing too much.
If you have this in your car for an extended period of time, especially during a hot day, this is actually eventually gonna start to heat up and really contour very nicely to the rest of your car. And what's really nice is it really extends pretty far back here underneath your dash. And if you take a closer look at the bottom, you notice we have these channel and ridges. And what that's there for is when you have any of that dirt or grind falling off your boots or shoes, your feet's gonna stay elevated away from all of that. Now when it comes to cleaning it, this is gonna get dirty a lot.
So you're gonna want something that's gonna be easy to clean. As you saw, I just stepped in here, left some scuffs. And if you wanna clean it, you can just come by with a towel or something else that's wet and wipe that off. And if you really need to deep clean this a lot, you can actually just take it off, wash it with a hose, let it dry, and then put it back in here. Now this material is gonna be pretty durable.
And as you can see, it's very stiff. It's a little hard to get in and out, but it's also gonna last you a very long time too. Overall, this is gonna be a great option for you if you want to keep the inside of your car clean from any of that dirt or grind. And it's also gonna be really easy to maintain.
