Video Transcript for DIY 2021 Toyota 4Runner Installation for the WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats

Hi everyone. Aiden here at the etrailer.com and today we're gonna be taking a look at the WeatherTech custom auto floor mats here on our 2021 Toyota 4Runner. Now like the name suggests these are going to be a custom fit for your 4Runner. Meaning everything down here is contoured and fitting around all the curves and shapes down here by the floor, giving us a secure fit but also really great coverage for our feet. Everything from this back portion here, all the way up into the footwell, is going to be protected and even a little bit out here into the door jam. So, all of those spills messes are well contained within the mat and easy to clean.

Keeping everything contained in the mat are going to be these channels. So, if we do have any spills they're automatically going to be directed down here and into this sort of reservoir where we can clean them up much easier and it keeps it all contained. Our 4Runner has these little latches here. We've got two on either side and it's going to hold things nice and in place. So, once we have that down and latched in you can see that back and forth movement is going to be kept down to a minimum.

Now there is another version of these floor mats that WeatherTech offers that is going to be a bit of a thicker material, a bit more flexible. And they're going to have those rubber nibs on the bottom to kind of grip into the carpet and keep it still. I think with these latches though, you're not gonna really notice much movement but if you are concerned about that that is something to keep in mind that it's out there. And we're also gonna have the same great coverage on our driver's side. The floor mat extends well up into where the pedals are.

I know it's probably hard to see on camera but that is a good point for me knowing that if I am driving with dirty shoes, that when I'm operating the pedals, it's still going to be protected. Now this is in a kit for the front. So, we've got our driver and passenger. If you want to get coverage for the back seat or even for the cargo area WeatherTech does have those options available on our site just go ahead and check them out. And I'd recommend picking them up just to get that full coverage, especially if you've got kids or pets, spills are bound to happen and it's gonna help keep those messes contained.

And overall, I think these are going to be a great fit for the 4Runner. Especially if you're into off roading, camping, any sort of activities that you just get dirty doing. These are gonna be really great at containing that mess and really easy to clean, too. So when we are done, we can just take them off hose them off and it's back to looking good as new.
