Today on this 2010 Nissan Altima we are going to be installing Weather Tech floor liners in both the front and the rear. We will be using the gray colored liners to match the interior using part number WT461961 in the front and part number WT461182 in the rear. First we will remove the old carpet floor mats. Weather Tech floor liners are custom molded to fit your vehicle that will often use the factory mounting points or hook locations. The liner s in and fits the contours and shape of the floor of the vehicle. You slip it over the factory floor mat hook. Now move over to the passenger side and install the liner on that side. 00:47
Because the Weather Tech liners are molded to fit the shape of the vehicles floor board they are not going to slide and move around like your typical car floor mat will. The liner itself is molded into a tray shape to help contain all of the dirt, mud, and whatever muck gets tracked into your car. The channels and moldings will also help keep fluid towards the center of the mat and away from the edges. The procedure will be much the same in the rear. We will remove the old carpeted floor liners and replace it with the single piece Weather Tech liner in the rear. Since the Weather Tech floor liners are custom molded to fit the vehicles the seat tracks and anything else still retains full functionality. Another great feature of the Weather Tech floor liners is that they are easily removed and cleaned. Unlike carpeted floor mats that need to be shampooed when they get soiled, the Weather Tech liners can easily be removed from the vehicle and hosed off.
