Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Today in our 2011 Chevrolet HHR we're going to be taking a look at the WeatherTech front auto floor mats in tan, part number WT451451. Also available in black, part number WT441451, and in grey, part number WT461451. I really like the way that these WeatherTech mats contour the floorboard and the way it gives you extra coverage to make sure that that carpeting underneath doesn't get dirty and that it helps keep your shoes clean. Down here we've got the existing floor mat in the vehicle. As you can see this has collected a lot of dirt and debris and also if we peel this up and look underneath you can see that there's other dirt and debris that's gotten under there, around the edges in particular. We'll remove this floor mat in order to install our WeatherTech. On this one when we put it in we want to get it down in a position, but then it has a little cutout here in order to put that factory floor mat hook back through to help secure it into place. As you can see, once it's all in place and settled, this fits very well to the contours of the floorboard here. We've got this raised lip that goes all the way around to help contain spills.
It goes up onto the driver's foot rest over here. We've got really nice coverage that goes up behind the brake and gas pedals here. Down here in the floor of it we've got these ridges and channels. What these do is help to contain anything that's gotten onto this floor mat like dirt, debris, or water or anything of that sort. It's going to help control it and make sure it doesn't go anywhere. The ridges are going to help keep the driver's feet off of whatever's on the floor so it doesn't collect. Over here on the passenger's side you can see the same thing.
We've got dirt that has collected off to the sides and underneath this floor mat. We'll remove this one, and then we'll put our WeatherTech into place. As you can see again on this side we've got a very nice fit with the contours all around the edges and the raised lip all the way to the protection up underneath the dash. Here on the passenger side we're going to get that same great coverage. To clean them you simply remove them from the vehicle. You can wash them with soap and water or you can use the WeatherTech cleaner and protector kit, part number WT8LTC36K.
Air or towel dry them. That's going to complete our look at the WeatherTech front auto floor mats in tan, part number WT451451 on our 2011 Chevrolet HHR.
