Today in our 2016 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be test fitting the WeatherTech front floor mats, part number WT448671. These are going to be black in color. You can also get them in gray, as part number WT468671. As you can see, the mats actually contour perfectly to the floorboards of your Tacoma. They fit perfectly with the factory mounts and they have these raised edges all the way around the floor mat itself to make sure all the mud, dirt, and water stay on the mat and off your carpet. It even has these channels to make sure it does that, as well. It goes pretty high up behind the gas and brake pedal. It goes all the way around.
It also has this sure-grip surface to make sure that the mat stays in place and doesn't move around once you install it as well. It's pretty much the same story on the passenger side. As you can see, perfectly contoured, goes pretty high up underneath the glove box, and it's going to keep all that water on the mat and off your carpet. Now that we've gone over some of the features, let's show you how they install. First, we're going to take out our factory floor mats and set them off to the side. With that done, we'll take our new mats and set them in place. You can see how these actually go over the factory mounts.
Then we'll lock them into place. We'll repeat this process for the passenger side. Now to clean these mats, it's very easy. You simply pull them out, wash them with some soap and water, let them dry, and then put them back into place. There you have it for the WeatherTech front floor mats, black in color, part number WT448671 on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma.
