Today on our 2015 Jeep Renegade we're going to be taking a look at the WeatherTech Cargo Liner in black for the rear, part number WT40790. Now you can see on the back of our Renegade, the carpet tends to get things stuck into it that you've been hauling around. We've already gone ahead and vacuumed this, and these are kind of embedded into the carpet. To help protect from further damage, we're going to go ahead and install one of our WeatherTech cargo liners. You can just take it out of the box. If it's still in a coiled-up shape, you want to just take it and lay it out in the sun for a couple of minutes upside down, and it'll straighten right out. Now you can see, once it's mounted up in there, you'll still have access to your loops here for cargo. With the raised edge here, it's going to keep any spills or dirt contained onto our liner and not allow it to fall onto the floor.
These channels are also going to help pool up all of our liquids and keep them away from the cargo that we have sitting on top of these raised ridges here. The texture on here is going to help things from sliding around and help keep it in place as you're going down the road. Now, with this in here also, it's going to help against abrasions that might come onto your carpet, because this is pretty durable. It's not going to get torn up if you we're to drop something on it, as your carpet might be torn if you slid something across it. This is a very durable material. Should it ever become dirty, you can take it out and clean it with some mild soap and water, or you can pick up the WeatherTech Cleaner and Protector Kit that's available at our website, part number WT8LTC36K.
