Today on our 2015 Ford Escape, we're going to review and install the WeatherTech Custom Fit Rear Cargo Liner, part number WT40570, black in color. This application is also available in gray, part number WT42570, or tan, part number WT41570. With nothing to remove, but we can already see the dirt and debris that's been building up here in the rear cargo area. That's just going to get ground into our carpet and create problems later on. If we go ahead and install our new WeatherTech custom fit cargo liner . As I pull my cargo liner out of the box, it was rolled up in shipping, but as we install it into the rear cargo area and it warms up, it'll conform to the rear of the vehicle and the vehicle's interior. As you can see, it's a really nice fit. It's got a raised outer edge to help keep that dirt and debris contained on the liner and off of our carpeting.
It extends all the way up to the back of the second row seating. Here, not only do we have a nice block-style design, but the grooves and channels are designed to divert any liquid, such as a spill from a soda or water or possibly inclement weather that we drag into the rear cargo liner. This will divert it away from our cargo, keeping it nice and dry, while also giving it a nice, firm grip so it doesn't shift or move around while we're traveling. Not only is our cargo liner easy to install, but we can also easily remove it and clean it with soap and water. Now with our cargo liner installed, we're ready to hit the road, and that'll do it for the review and install of our WeatherTech Custom Fit Rear Cargo Liner, part number WT40570, on our 2015 Ford Escape.
