Video Transcript for How to Set Up Your WeatherTech Cargo Liner on a 2021 Jeep Compass

Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the WeatherTech cargo liner, in our 2021 Jeep Compass. Now this is gonna be a great option for ya if you don't wanna get a hitch or a carrier on the back of your Compass, or you can't, and you need somewhere to put more of your bulky or messy items, whether that be concrete, mulch, or if you're going camping and your stuff gets kind of messy, and you don't want that getting inside your car, this mats gonna help protect you and keep that stuff out from it. Putting it in here is pretty straightforward. Just slide it in, and kinda line it up with the contours of your car. Now I will say it is kind of bending up some, and that's just because we just put ours in and it's gonna be rolled up in your box.

But if you put it in here, use it for a day or so, leave it out here in the sun when it's hot outside, this should start to flatten out and really start to form to your car. It's gonna be made of a durable thermoplastic and that's just gonna help it stand up to the test of time. And it's also gonna help you when you're putting things in and out of here, or if you get any messes in here, it's gonna help hold up to that. And we're also gonna have these raised walls. So if you have anything that does spill in here, like some ice or snow when you're opening up your hatch, it's gonna be more likely to catch in here and keep it in here too.

We're also gonna have this design on the bottom and that's gonna help you catch debris and keep your items raised above that debris too. And what I really like about this is how easy it is to take in and out. So, if you ever need to dump out any of that debris or clean it off, it's gonna be a real quick and easy job to do. And we're gonna have a black mat today, and it's really gonna match the interior of our car really nicely. Now if you have a different color interior, we do have different colors on our website available, if you need something else like that.

But overall, I think this is gonna be a great fit for what we have today. This is gonna help keep your car really clean, this is gonna be really easy to take in and out, and this is gonna be durable, being able to stand up to the test of time.
