Today on our 2015 Ford Escape, we're going to review and install the WeatherTech custom fit second row floor liner, part number WT444592 black in color. This application is also available in tan, part number WT454592 or grey, part number WT464592. To begin our install we'll go ahead and remove the old or manufacturer's floor mats. Now we can go ahead and take the new WeatherTech liner and set it into place. Now with our liner in place you can see we've got a lot more coverage area. The custom molding allows us to go all the way up to the second row seat track.
We've got the custom molding and contouring going around our seat belt anchor and then the seat tracking here in the front row with an extension going up under the seat. Here again we've got our custom molding covering the seat tracking to give us the maximum coverage area here for the second row, and the coverage to go around the console and up and over the hump. Then it's going to follow back down over the passenger's side and mirror the driver's side. Here in the bottom of our floor liner we've got the specific designed grooves and channels to help divert any liquids. This will divert it away from our passenger's feet so they stay nice and dry while keeping it on the floor liner. Now this a one piece liner, so it extends all the way from one threshold to the other for a complete coverage of our vehicle's floor board.
Now because our floor liner is digitally designed and custom fit, it doesn't shift or move around like some floor liners will. Another really nice feature about our floor liner is not only is it easy to install, but it's easy to remove and can be cleaned with soap and water. Now that our floor liner is installed, we're ready to hit the road.
