Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this PTC Custom Fit Cabin Air Filter. This is gonna do a great job of replacing your current cabin air filter, if it's time to change it out. It's definitely something that you can do on your own. You don't need to pay a mechanic to do it for you, and this is gonna do a great job of providing just a nice, fresh, clean air coming into your cabin so it's not blowing dust, smoke, and other gross stuff in your face while you're sitting there driving down the road. Now this is gonna be a custom fit for several different Land Rover and Volvo vehicles that you can see on the screen there with the year ranges and the models.

This is going to fit right in place of the original, so you're not gonna have to worry about fit issues or anything like that. Typically, for most vehicles, the cabin air filter is housed right behind your passenger side glove box, so it should be very easy to get to. Just kinda take down that glove box, there should be a little door there that you can open up, and your original will be sitting right there. Basically, all you have to do is pull out that original, slide this one in, and you're ready to go. You do want to pay attention to the air flow direction.

So you can see, this one has arrows. You want to make sure that your new one is gonna be in the same orientation as the original to make sure that that air is gonna flow through there. Now this is gonna be a really nice option for you. It's got a charcoal-treated media particulate that's gonna help filter out over 90% of your outside pollutants, including your offensive odors and harmful gases, so it's gonna do a really good job of keeping out dust, smoke, bacteria, pollen, mold spores, and carbon monoxide as they come through the filter. That charcoal-treated particulate is going to capture all those and allow only clean air to flow through.

Which is not only gonna be really nice for you as you're sitting there breathing that in, but it's also gonna help with your heating and air conditioning system, so not allowing those particulates to get through there and potentially build up in your system. You're gonna save yourself some maintenance down the road, potentially damage that could be caused. So this is gonna be a really nice thing to just switch out about once a year, every 12,000 to 18,000 miles, something along those lines. You wanna switch this out to make sure that you're getting nice, clean, fresh air. Now this does meet the ISO 9001, 9002, and 9003 standards, as well as the QS9000 certified standards, so you can trust this is a nice, high-quality filter, gonna do a good job of keeping all those pollutants and everything out.

For those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is gonna work for your vehicle, this is an exact replacement for the part numbers that you see on the screen there. So if you pull your old one out, see any of those part numbers, or you're going through your owner's manual, come acrost any of those part numbers, you can trust this is gonna work for you, have the confidence to change it out yourself, save you a little bit of money over paying someone else to do it, definitely a very easy process to get this switched out, and it's gonna do a good job of helping to ensure that you're getting nice, clean air in your cabin of your vehicle.
