Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the PTC Custom Fit Cabin Air Filter in charcoal. Now this is going to keep any kind of harmful contaminants from getting into your vehicle. If you think of when you're out on the road, you encounter all kinds of stuff, pollen, dust, gasoline, fumes, smoke, bacteria, pollen and mold. All those things can get into your HVAC system or into your heating and air conditioning on your car, get it all gunked up, can cause some condensation on your windshield.
And it just kind of clogs up the works and maybe makes your air conditioning not flow as strongly as it did before, or same thing for your heat. And most importantly, you're also breathing all that stuff in. So by having a filter, we're going to be able to filter out most of those contaminants. By having the charcoal filter, it's going to do a better job of doing that as well, so we don't have to worry about breathing in all that nasty stuff while we're out on the road. This is pretty easy to install on your own. It usually goes either behind or underneath your glove compartment on your passenger side on your vehicle in the interior.
