Video Transcript for What to Know About the Taylor Made Deluxe Sewn USA Boat Flag

Hey everyone I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the tailor-made deluxe sewn yacht insignia flag. This is going to be a great option for those of us who are traveling in American waters. And we just want to show off our yacht flag, or if we're in international waters and we want to signify that we are an American boat on our yacht. So it's going to have our embroidered 13 stars and the anchor with rope in our Canton, and then the 13 stripes, with the alternating red and white, each of those stripes is an individual strip of material that is sewn into place. And our design on the Canton is an embroider design.

So it looks really nice and it should last for a long time. It's made out of a nylon material, so it shouldn't fade or get damaged in the sun at all.The one thing that they do recommend is that whenever you're done flying it, that you let it dry and then fold it up once it's dry, rather than try to put it away wet, since it can get a little bit moldy or mildewy over time. And if you're in any kind of high wind situation, like going through a storm, you also want to reduce your flags so that you don't have any fraying at the fly end. As far as the size of the flag, it's roughly 30 by 48 inches. Whenever I actually measured it, it was a little bit different than that.

If we go from the very end of the Halyard to the fly end, it's about 49 and a half inches. If you we're actually to stretch this out, it's probably closer to 50 inches. If we go from the inside of that seam there, the white part of the Halyard, it's actually closer to that 48 Mark, about 48 and half.And then top to bottom it's about 29 or excuse me, 28 and a half inches. So roughly that 30 by 48 Mark. All the stitching looks really nice, it looks just as good on the reverse as it does on the side.

So they flip it over, you can see that design still looks good. There's no loose ends of that embroidery or anything. They've done a nice job of making that look really good. And it should be clear again, either way. You have it.

No worries about fading over time. Now this is made in the USA, and it also has the brass grommets here to prevent any kind of ripping or tearing at the Halyard. The fly end has a four hem or four stitched hem. So we'll have that reinforced there.
