Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a quick look at the replacement seat heater kit. This is going to be the wiring for your heater on your Thomas Payne RV furniture. If your vehicle's furniture had that heating pad and maybe something happened with the wiring, it got cut or severed somewhere along the way, maybe frayed or maybe one of the pets got to it, whatever the case might be, this is going to be a replacement for that wiring to make sure that everything's working properly.We'll have three connections to make. We have all our little our plugs.
I'm going to zoom in a little bit so you can see those a little bit better to make sure that they're a fit for your furniture. This first larger one, that's going to be the connection to your remote for your Thomas Payne furniture, this middle one, the two-prong white plug is what actually plugs into the heater itself or the heating pad on your furniture, and the final one is going to be the plug into our power source. So we'll have those three connections to make.One other caveat to this is that you must already have the heat capability. If your couch or seat didn't already have the heating pad installed, this isn't going to upgrade you to having that heating pad, so keep that in mind.As far as the size or the length of each of those wires, I'll give those to you. Going from our connection all three are shrink wrapped together here to make sure that all the wiring is a nice and secure.
From where those are bound together to the end of our remote plug, it's about 19 inches long. That was going from, again, that connection point here to about there on the plug just to make sure that you have enough room to get that maneuvered in, so about 19 inches on that one.For our power source plug it's a bit longer, it's about two feet or 24 inches long. That was measuring from that same point to about that position on the plug. That was right at 24 inches so if we go a little bit lower that's about 23 inches of usable length. Then our smaller wire here that goes to the heater, that's about eight inches to work with.Hopefully that's helpful in deciding if this is going to be the right kit for you.
