Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Lewmar Aluminum LFX Fluke Anchor with rope, chain, and shackle. Now this aluminum fluke anchor is going to let you drop anchor in different conditions, and this is going to hold in sand and mud. And then this is going to be ideal for boats from 31 feet up to 50 feet long. And just to give you some measurements of the anchor itself, looking at what I'm calling the overall depth, we're sitting at about 30 or 31 inches or so, looking at the overall width here at the widest point, about 24 inches wide. And then the fluke is right about 17 inches long or deep.
So you're going to be able to adjust the shank and the fluke angles for different conditions. And this is going to give you ample fluke surface area for holding your boats steady. And this is also gonna give you more holding power than your traditional, if you could call it that, steel fluke anchors of the same weight. And then this is also going to disassemble for easy storage. So this will come to you ready to be put together and you can put it together in about five minutes or so.
So it's easy to put together. It's just as easy to take apart. So you can store it in like a locker or something like that. And you're gonna be able to adjust the flukes depending on your particular application. And this is made of anodized aluminum, so that's gonna do a great job of protecting against corrosion.
So it's lightweight, but yet it's gonna be very strong and durable for you as well. You're gonna be able to attach your anchor road to the integrated eye, as you can see here. And of course, this does come with the chain, the shackle that connects the chain to the anchor, and then this rope. Some details about the chain and the rope. The chain is about 15 feet long, the link size is 15/16 of an inch.
And then the rope here is about 200 feet long, and the diameter of the rope is five eights of an inch. Altogether, this kit weighs about 20 pounds. And so you're gonna get exactly what you see here on my table before me. We do have other selections from Lewmar, so if the anchor isn't exactly what you're looking for, or you need a different length of rope and chain, definitely take a look at the other options that we have from Lewmar to find just exactly what you're looking for. But if you decide that this is going to work for you, once you get this and you've used it, we would love to hear back from you regarding your experience using this anchor, chain, and rope. So drop us a review on this product page if you would, let us know how it's working out for you, and we would actually also love to see pictures of your setup and pictures of this in action and how you're using it. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
