Video Transcript for Breaking Down the Seaflo Manual Bilge Pump for Boats

Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the Seaflo Manual Bilge Pump for boats. Now this manual water pump will help push out built up water from the bilge wells on your small boat. This can be mounted on your bulkhead or the deck of the boat. It includes the hand pump, the two hose fittings with the rubber seals.

It has a nice compact design so it's ideal for confined spaces. It is a polypropylene construction, so it's very lightweight and durable. And you can see it does include the one and a half inch diameter hose fittings at the inlet and outlet ports and the seals. So basically you would just put your seal in there and then go ahead and attach your hose connector to one side. And once you get it tightened down, take your other seal, put it in that side, attach that over here and go ahead and tighten that all the way down. Once you get that all tightened down, then you'd be able to hook your hoses right up to that.A few specs on this, the flow is 5.3 gallons per minute, capacity is 720 gallons per hour.

A few dimensions on this, we'll do the mounting holes for you. There's four holes here to mount it to center-to-center on those holes is going to be horizontally four and five 16ths inches. Vertically, same four and five 16ths inches. Overall length with the connectors installed from this end to this end is going to be right at about 13 inches. The width on it, which is going to be from here to here, you're going to be right at about five and a quarter inches wide.

And the overall height at the tallest point which would be about here is three and five 16ths inches tall. But again, the way to just operate it is you lift up and you have your rubber diaphragm there. And you just pump it, and as you're pumping it it'll draw the water through and pump it out. But that should do it for the review on the Seaflo Manual Bilge Pump for boats.
