Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Feedback Sports Number 2 JIS Screwdriver. Now screws on most of your bicycle components are designed for a shallow JIS standard screwdriver taper, not your standard Phillips screwdriver. Basically, the JIS stands for Japanese Industry Standard. And now the JIS screwdriver is more versatile than a Phillips Number 2, because the JIS tip is a lot shorter.
There's no sharp point on it, and it fits both screw head depths. Wanted to zoom in even a little bit closer there and show you, if you look at the tip on this, you can see it is not a sharp tip. Now the JIS cross point screwdriver is commonly used on your bicycle derailer to adjust the cross point screws. This Number 2 JIS Screwdriver is less likely to round out on your cross point screws. Does also have a nice tapered texture grip on it.
Provides greater control for any subtle adjustment. And the tool is a quality steel shaft with a magnetic tip, so it can help you get your screws started. But that should do it for the review on this Feedback Sports Number 2 JIS Screwdriver.
$9 for 1 screwdriver is a bit pricy in my opinion, however that said, it is cheaper than almost every other place. I’ve only used the screwdriver a few toes, but it fits the screw heads where I’ve used it much better than a regular phillips. . Like lots of special tools, nothing works as well as the correct tool and they often cost more. I needed the JISbit for working on my bicycles.
