To use this kit 11409 your must already have the block bushing or the bushing for a block heater for this kit will be # 11461b and about $7.00. Install was a little tricky given the location for my vehicle 2012 F150. But other than that pretty straight forward. Packaging was good and product seems well put together. Only time will tell if it works well. I'm not in the cold climate yet. It also does come with the 3 prong as advertised.

Product is fine but, the installation instructions are terrible. Even contacting the manufacturer for the mounting instructions, terrible. Found the mounting place on YouTube. What's up with this?

Already had one and it works great, really helps save your battery on cold days and makes starting/cranking speeds faster instead of the slow crank you get when your battery is cold, i consider it a must have for winter where we get to -20 easily. The last one I got was from another site and cost at least 20% more there, so definitely happy I could get the same product for cheaper here.

Works great, no issues with the product but the cord is short for my Ram since the original connection site is near the back of the engine block. I have to open my hood to plug it in which isn't a hude deal but an extra 8-12" of length would have been nice.

Have not installed yet, but looks well designed and should work as advertised. This will be replacing a factory injection system on an old IH D260 tractor. I have been able to order and receive overnight a bottle of ether from NAPA.

Here is a photo of the engine warmer installed in a 1996 CK-3500 Chey Silverado 1 ton crew cab - Vortex 350 V8 engine. I had already installed one of these, so it was a bit easier this time around. It is a very tight fit, but worth the effort because it really makes a world of difference starting the engine out here in the Wyoming winters. Because I am a Fireman, the need for me to just go when called is paramount, and this unit makes that possible even when the temps are below zero. Thank you for having these available, the auto parts store where I bought the last one no longer stocked them. I am very pleased that it came right to our ranch via UPS too. I am not using this product because my owners Manuel says not to use this type of heater.

The engine heater can fast, however it won’t work on my loader there isn’t enough room to install it on the lower radiator hose. I should have measured the location. Do you accept returns?
