B&W Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs
Love this hitch. It has performed great with my 17,000 lb trailer all year. A very stable and reliable platform for towing. Easy to set up and plenty of adjustment to get the trailer just right. The only negative is the weight, not the easiest to get in and out of the truck by yourself.
I decided to buy the Champion fifth wheel hitch to pull a fifth wheel camper, my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 already had a B&W goose neck hitch in it. The champion hitch allowed me to also have a fifth wheel hitch with out drilling and mounting more weight to the truck. The instructions for assembly were clear and easy to follow making the assembly of the hitch easy. The hitch fit snug and there is no play in it. The 26' fifth wheel camper pulled nicely, no surging or swaying.

Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Single Jaw - 21,000 lbs
The assembly seems very stout and sturdy overall. Was able to put the unit together in truck bed quite easily. will know more in upcoming weekend when fifth wheel trailer gets pulled home
I was a bit disappointed because when I installed the hitch per instructions, it still allowed a movement on the hitch. The hitch would actually move 1-2 inches when I would brake or accelerate the vehicle while towing. I researched and found that it was a common issue and some people were advised by etrailer technical support to torque the attachment bolts tighter. I did this as well, but with the same results. So as a result I don't pull the fifth wheel very far and am look for a solution to the issue.
