Most Popular Programmable for 2022 Forest River R-Pod Travel Trailer

So far, this awning is going on the trailer fine. Everything shipped and I am installing it this week. Working through the wiring and got everything working including the switches that are in the trailer already. The SmartArm controller is awesome. I am glad I opted for the wind sensor also, we almost lost an awning a couple of years ago when a storm blew in as we were coming back to the campground. I was holding on to the awning and the wind picked me up like I was in a parachute. We thankfully got it rolled in before any damage was done, but many campers lost their awnings that day. I'll update once I get everything installed and working.

Love the way water pours off when it rains without having to do anything but make sure you are not in the dump zone. A little disappointed that extension and retraction are not a little quicker. Have tried all settings but so far the auto wind retraction has not worked. Maybe I'm not letting the awning flop enough but I think when the awning is popping and the camper is rocking it's time to roll it in. All that said it sure beats my old manual awning.

The addition of this awning has been awesome. The install was easy and the operation has been great. We put it on an Old Church bus we turned into the Hogwarts Express. Take it camping, NASCAR Races and watching Meteor showers.

Everyone I talked to was easy to understand and extremely pleasant, which is unusual these days, sadly. Even though the item was damaged in shipping, and no fault of etrailer, they made everything right in a very timely manner, I couldn’t have asked for better customer service. Great people and great company
