Most Popular Connects to Gooseneck Ball for 2019 Ram 2500

The hitch itself is firm and sturdy but we had to modify it right out of the box. The bolts that hold the shaft in place were too long and did not fit in the opening of our truck bed. We also had to buy a new gooseneck ball because the ball was too low for the sleeve to reach all the way down the ball. So the ball we had to buy had a one inch tall shaft which made it just barely tall enough to work. As I mentioned, the hitch is great but the two modifications and hours of trying to figure it out and ordering new parts to make it work was a massive bummer. The two truck bed brands were Knapheide and EBY.

I am able to install (after purchasing a ball that is compatible) and remove easily and it tows just fine.It would be nice if etrailer would list compatible balls for this hitch when using the puck system.
