Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional
Install was fairly easy. I used a wiring adapter for my Tundra. That meant no wire splicing etc. Have not pulled my trailer with it yet. Will review again when I get a chance.
I installed a P3 Tekonsha with cable adapter on my 2017 Toyota Tundra which has a factory brake assist but didn't work on my 2013 Airstream . You tube helped with installing the cable and finally how to remove the factory brake assist unit to get to the cable, it wasn't to bad but I didn't want break or scratch anything . We went on a trip had to adjust the unit once "post calibration" and had a BRAKE worry free trip! Thank you guys so much for your help on something Toyota dealers couldn't and wouldn't help me with! Next time I'll buy a Chevrolet/Ford. FYI... a short note on installing the cable would help greatly thanks again . DR

Autowbrake Electric Brake Controller - Trailer Mount w/ Remote Fob - Up to 3 Axles - Proportional
Works great. Would recommend practicing with it before hitting the road because it does act a little different than a regular brake controller. Requires a little more effort on braking for it to engage.
After installing this controller, towing my trailer has become so easy! I just plug in the electrical cable to my truck and go. If I need to adjust the braking strength, the remote on my keychain makes it simple with just a few clicks. This is much better than the Echo controller I was using. I love it!
