Melissa at E-Trailor was very helpful and service was good. DK2 sent us the wrong mounting brackets three times. Eventually I received the right parts to mount up the plow. After plowing with it multiple times, I miss the hydrdoturn capacity of my 60 year old Meyer plow. This DK plow will move snow but it is awkward and slow.
Worked great through year one.

I bought this K2RAMP8219 snow plow to take care of small properties in my neighborhood. Had a mechanic install the electrical under the hood and I put together the parts as described in the instructions. Everything seemed fine. Hooked up the plow to the vehicle and it lifted fine and lowered fine. Soon as we got our first small snowfall I try to plow my back driveway and it wasn't enough snow to see how will the plow worked so I tried to remove the plow from the hitch and couldn't get the plow off. I tried moving the vehicle to all sorts of areas on my driveway and still would not unhook. Had to Dremel the plow bracket of the hitch . Then tried to get it back on and it wouldn't go back on. Called technical support and told them of this problem and they sent a new hitch and that didn't work either. Now the snow plow sits in my backyard and can't do anything with it.
We purchased the DK2 Rampage II snowplow in Nov.2015, and started using it in Oct. 2016. Now it's been a little over a year, and the snow plow stopped working. After careful inspection, we found out the winch installed in the plow is an used+defective one (inside screws and rubber washer are not in place). It would be great if all parts are new and without defect. What's worse, we tried to call the 1-800 on the instruction manual for ordering a replacement part, but never got any human being to answer the phone after trying for a week. Finally we found the phone # of the seller - etrailer from my old email folder. It would be more convenient if you could have placed your phone # on the manual so that customers can easily contact you in case of any problem. Thank you for listening.
