The Rhino Racks work as intended for my bike rack above the bed of my Maverick pickup. Very secure and easy to assemble.

The rhino rack is well made but suffers from the flat bottom rubber feet. Since nearly all cars and trucks have roof seams, foot pads should be stepped to engage the seam like other racks such as Thule does. It's unlikely that very many different shapes would be needed to fit most vehicles. Rhino tech didn't agree with my assessment.

Great seller. Excellent communication and fast shipment. Product is as described, and all the parts were included for a great install. I installed myself. I'm fairly handy, and i thought it was easy to install alone on a fiberglass Snugtop. Took about 2.5 hours. I followed the instructions included plus I used a seamstress tape measure, drill, brad-point bit, wrench for tightening fasteners, shopvac. Great looking rack.

The item was actually the Rhino-rack roof rack complete system including Aero- bars and tracks for camper shells without existing tracks ( and not the quick mount legs pictured). I received the shipment with literally half of the components missing and had to wait for the missing parts to be sent. Still ended up with one part missing so had to wait again for that part to be sent. Took a total of 3 months from the time I ordered until I had all the parts to complete installation. I still gave 4 stars due to the quality of the product ( and at half the price of a comparable Yakima system), and because of the diligence and response of representatives (Amy and Tiffini) who helped me get the missing parts. I will note however (from reviewing other posted reviews) that shipping orders for this item with missing parts, and even with half the components missing, does not appear to be an isolated event)

Like this but whistles when you go higher speeds

Ok… giving this item four stars as an overall view. The good: it fits a Jeep Wrangler perfectly. With the appropriate legs, it canvases across the entire roof of the Jeep with the legs attaching to the gutters. The bad: just a bit too noisy for my liking, even with the appropriate wind faring (I don’t expect absolute silence since I have a one touch sky top). The noise is not a big deal on short trips, but it was definitely driving my wife and kids nuts on a 2+ hour drive (stick some headphones on the kids, problem fixed) In the future, I might switch it up from these square rails and go with something a bit more aerodynamic…

My truck top already had Thule tracks from the factory. The Rhino rack installed into the existing tracks with no problems. The instructions were clear and intuitive and the whole process took about an hour.

The Rhino-Rack roof rack worked out great for us. The install was straight forward and was easily done by one person, me. We used the rack to mount two J type kayak carriers that held two Perception Pilot kayaks and drove from the Seattle area all the way to Cabo San Lucas, including going through some wind storms in California. Everything preformed perfect.

We had the challenge of how to carry 2 kayaks this summer in addition to hauling a 30 foot gooseneck horse trailer. We have F450 crew cab with custom truck bed. We hoped to use the "head ache" bar on the truck bed to support the rear sets of Swagman Rincon supports and purchased a single Rhino Vortex bar for the forward sets on top of the cab. We have 10.5 and 12 foot kayaks and this looks to be an excellent solution. The kayaks are clear of the gooseneck trailer even in a "jackknife" position. Please note the truck bed is extra long therefore there is plenty of room forward the nose of the trailer. We have not hauled yet but will convey any issues if there are any. eTrailer tech support was excellent. Product shipped as projected. Installation took approximatly 3 hours.

My setup - Thule - Super easy to setup. Thule Goalpost Hitch Mounted Load Bar (TH997) Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar (RRVA150B) and associated fit kit - Single set Solid construction but the directions for the Rhino-Rack components are worthless. Look online to get general idea of installation.
