Only received part of my order by date you said still waiting for rest of order

Shipper dropped box, chipped some paint, and pin is missing. Other than that, smooth process from order to delivery. No fault to trailer at all. Seems like a well built rugged hitch!

Product works well for my purposes

This is just what I wanted. A bit heavy but then again it has to be sturdy to be safe. It was easy to install maybe took 15 minutes. What I like is that it will fit any goose-neck set up, unlike some of the others. Has a nice powder coat and works easily. The pin is about three inches forward and I thought this might change the characteristics when backing up but it did not.

Great replacement for the Curt Turning Point pin box! Easy to install and took a couple hours since I did it by myself. I had to purchase new 5/8” locknuts as the originals from the Curt install needed replacing. I also had to buy (4) 5/8” nuts from Tractor Supply since the Curt install had nuts welded on the front 4 bolt locations. I used the Curt 5/8” bolts and flat washers since they did not need replacing. I haven’t had a chance to get the trailer on the road yet, but see no reason why it will not pull nicely with the Gen Y gooseneck. It will be pulled with a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD 6.6 Duramax and 10 speed Allison transmission.

The ride while pulling our trailer is much better. While there is still some bucking, the Gen Y hitch is much smoother. The install was fairly easy as well.

If you are towing as a gooseneck- the Gen Y is absolutely the best choice! You get what you pay for - an extremely well designed and engineered hit hitch that has exceeded my expectations.
