Most Popular Fit Kits for 2007 Ford Taurus

Worked like a charm. Easy instructions and is holding a 100 lb kayak very well on my Ford Taurus.

The folks at etrailer helped walk me through exactly which parts I needed for a saddle style kayak rack for my 2013 Taurus. I couldn't have ordered it without the help of customer service. In addition, the video for installation was also helpful, although I did need to read the directions thoroughly as well. Love my rack!

The rack was fairly easy to mount on my Durango. I was able to load my kayak from the side since I have a bike rack on the rear. I use a bathroom rug and flip the boat up on the car, then slide the boat directly onto the rack. I only carry it this way for short drives to local lakes. There is some wind noise at 50 mph.

Picked up the fit kit and vortex 2500 aero bars from etrailer. Added them to a Rhino Rack leg kit I got and everything went on perfectly. Can’t believe how solid the whole system feels. I have a box to put on the rack that will carry all my golf gear and hiking equipment for a three week tour of Utah and Colorado. Looking forward to traveling and actually having room inside the car to find things. Thanks etrailer for the Awesome service (Noah was great) and the super fast shipping. I’ll be back when I need accessories.

I received my all the parts for my roof rack installation to a bare roof. I quickly read through the instructions, identified all the parts, and started putting it together. It wasn't long and the installation was complete. The instructions were easy to understand and the product seems very durable.

Please see my review of Thule risers this Fit Kit was used with, as well as, Flint Hill basket. Same pic below as there. Weakest element of this item are the clips that fit into slots to secure it to - whatever - in my case, a Retrax Pro, manual Tonneau cover on the bed if my truck. See pic. Hard to visualize appropriate, secure placement. Seem to be working, but major test to come.
