Hello, every buddy. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Roadmaster Exact Center steering stabilizer with the custom mounting brackets for motor homes. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2006 to 2018 Freightliner XC Chassis motor homes with the solid front axle. And it will not work on the XCR Chassis.
It will also work on the 2016 and newer Freightliner XC Chassis V-Ride motor home. And again, no XCR Chassis. On a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide. Put in your year, model, vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for your application. Now, this is an exact center stabilizer.
It works better than other steering stabilizer because it's always working to prevent unwanted movement. Whereas the other stabilizers react to movement, this exact center works to prevent it. Other steering stabilizers will slowly activate to control the steering. Only after your motor home has already begun to wonder or make a turn. Basically, other steering stabilizers are reactive which means they fight against unwanted movement but only after the movement has already started.
They'll get your RV back in line and absorb shock while doing so, but they still allow some play in the steering because of their soft centers, which can cause the steering to feel spongy. So this Raodmaster's Exact Center Stabilizers is proactive. It uses a nitrogen charged tandem gas spring on the inside that applies full force right when you need it. This will help prevent the unwanted wondering and the white knuckling that you'll typically get when driving your RV. The stabilizer prevents your motor home from wandering, improves the steering, keeps your RV centered, taking the fight outta your steering.
And it'll help maintain control over your RV during cross winds, rut tracking, and even road edging. It is a bolt on installation. There's no drilling or welding required for installation. Once I got it tuned in, it has performed exactly as advertised! It has kept me from constant steering correction and no white knuckle driving! I have had other steering stabilizers in the past, this one beats them all!

Still the very best steering stabilizer I have ever purchased. As annotated in my original review the exact center steering stabilizer has completely eliminated my steering issues on my 2015 Coachmen Encounter 37LS.

I am still very glad I bought this product. It settled down the constant diving into the corners in the mountain roads and has made driving the Class C much safer in my opinion

Still havent used it. I just got the motorhome back with a new steering box. It took over a year to find someone that would check out the steering box. The steering box and kingpins were not set up properly at the factory and had to be replaced at 13,800 miles. Im learning what Fix Or Repair Daily means.

I installed the Roadmaster Steering Stabilizer RM92RR about 1 year ago. It does help my 2016 Allegro AA drive better. Wind gusts do not push me around as much and I find the RV tracks better and is more relaxing to drive.
