Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this PTC custom-fit engine air filter. This is gonna replace your vehicle's existing filter to help improve the performance of your vehicle. It is a custom fit, so it is going to work for your 2018 and newer Nissan NV 2500 and 3500 with the 5.6 liter V8 engine. It's also going to work with your 2016 and newer Nissan Titan XD with the 5.6 liter V8 engine and the 2017 to 2019 Nissan Titan XD with a crew cab and the 5.6 V8 engine.
So, replacing your engine air filter, definitely not a very exciting process, but something that anybody can do. You don't have to be a mechanic. You don't have to pay a mechanic. Very simple to change this out. Changing it out is going to help improve your vehicle's performance.
The embossed paper pleats here are going to help protect your engine from debris to help improve the air flow. It's gonna prevent harmful dirt and debris from entering into your engine where it can cause problems. And having that cleaner air is gonna provide more oxygen, so more efficient combustion. It's gonna help improve your acceleration and mileage. Now manufacturer for this one recommends changing it out every 12,000 to 18,000 miles or about once a year.
Of course, that is gonna depend upon your environment. So if you live in a really dusty environment, you might have to change it out more frequently. But a good thing to keep in mind, very easy to do, it installs right in your engine's air filter housing. So just basically take the old one out, put this new one in its place. This does have the silicone sealing gasket around the edges to help ensure a nice, strong seal between the filter and the air intake box, so no air is gonna be escaping around the edges.
It's all gonna be forced through those paper plates. Now, for those of you who need a little bit more reassurance that this is gonna work for you, this is gonna be an exact replacement for the part numbers that you see on the screen there. So if you're going through your owner's manual or you pull out your current filter and you see any of those numbers, you can trust this is gonna be exactly what you need to help improve the performance of your engine, help to make sure that none of that dirt debris and that sort of thing is getting into the engine where it could potentially cause problems. The air intake filter was exactly as advertised and fit perfectly in canister. Is substantial and not filmsy in anyway and is very similiar in quality as OEM filter.

Website led me to believe that this would work for my vehicle. That was not the case. CS said I could return it but I would have to pay for shipping costs, and sadly it would cost me more in shipping to return it than the item costed. Double check that this is the right one for your vehicle before purchasing as the website may not accurately direct you to the correct one, as it did for me.
Everything was shipped the day I ordered it. Filters fit like they should. The BW hitch fits great, is heavy duty and will probably be the last one I buy. Great job!

Shipping was extremely fast and of course customer service is absolutely top notch! The filter itself has almost the same color as a Fram filter and the filter material doesn’t look like anything special. It looks like a standard filter though when I start driving it around that will be the true test.
