Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement front brake shoe. This is going to replace the front brake shoe on your Dexter 13 inch free backing hydraulic trailer brake. So this is for a 13 inch by two and a half inch brake assembly. And what that measurement means is that when this is installed on the assembly with the shoe on the other side, if you measure the diameter from this edge to the shoe all the way across, it's going to be 13 inches in diameter. And then the two and a half inches is going to be the measurement of our pad, the width there of that pad. So two and a half inches.
So this is exactly like the one that you are needing to replace and it is directly from Dexter so you can trust that it's going to fit right in place of the original. So no worries about compatibility issues, fitment or anything like that. The mounting hardware to install this onto the brake assembly is sold separately.
