GSP offers 4 types of CV axles based on your vehicle and riding habits. The OE+ model is an affordable OEM replacement with neoprene boots. The Heavy Duty (HD) axle has a stronger shaft and TPEE boots that are better than OEM axles. The Xtreem Duty (XD) is 30% stronger than OEM axles and includes a thicker shaft for riding hard and racing. The XD is often used on lifted vehicles. The Xtended axle is a specialty product for those with long travel suspensions. It includes the same quality features of the HD axle but is longer to accomodate different builds.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this GSP Custom Fit Xtended Length CV Rear Axle Assembly. Now, this extended length axle is going to increase the stability and handling as part of your vehicle's long travel suspension system. And this is going to fit the rear left or right rear position of your 2011 to 2015 Can-Am Commander 800 or 1000. And on custom fit parts such as this axle, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide.
Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. The additional five inches is going to help accommodate larger tires and let you ride harder. The hardened steel alloy shaft is built to resist wear, and the oversized CV joints are gonna let you climb rough terrain and crawl over obstacles. The flexible and tough TPEE boots are going to resist tearing and cracking. And this does arrive pre-assembled, just as you see it here, for a relatively simple installation.
This is already packed with high-performance moly grease to reduce friction. And as you probably already saw, the axle nut is included. The compressed axle assembly length is going to be 33.39 inches. The inboard spline count is 24, and the outboard spline count is 26. Well, that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today.
I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
