Tire Snow Chain Fit on Toyota Prius with 195/65R15 Radial Tires
Question:
HI, I have a prius with tire size 195/65 R15, will these chains fit? I see that 195/70/15 is listed, I didnt know if the 5 less on the aspect ratio would be an issue, Thanks.

Tire size is one aspect of compatibility for considering use of a tire chain; the other is the year/make/model and version of the vehicle. A Thule chain that does fit this tire size is their # TH04115080. These are the S-Class type that require less clearance in the wheel wells.
The Thule chains # TH01221090 that you referenced do not fit your tire size.
Auto makers get the final word on whether their vehicles are suitable for use with tire chains. Some cars can use only special low-clearance S-Class chains, while other vehicles like SUVs may be able to use larger and more-effective standard chains. Wheel well clearance and proximity of brake system components are critical considerations for determining if any given vehicle is suitable for chains. Your owner's manual (or local dealership) can tell you if tire chains are permissible on your particular vehicle. The two linked articles will give you plenty of background information on the types of chains available.
As an example, your same tire size 195/65R15 on a 2013 Toyota Prius could be fitted with one of the chains shown on the link at right - IF the owner's manual so states.
Unless prohibited by the auto maker two sets of chains can be used on a vehicle, front and rear, to allow for both better traction and for better steering and braking performance. But again, your owner's manual is the place to start to determine what Toyota considers appropriate for their vehicle.
