Removed Edge Juice with Attitude from 2011 Ram Diesel before Returning to Stock

Updated 07/18/2014 | Published 07/17/2014

Question:

I am trading in my 2011 Dodge Diesel for a 2015 Chevrolet 3500 Diesel and I have two questions... First, in my haste to get my Dodge ready to leave, I forgot to return the tuning of the truck to stock before the Edge Juice with Attitude was removed. The truck does seem to run fine... Do I need to reinstall the Edge Juice with Attitude and actually return it to stock or will everything be ok? If so, how much of the programmer actually has to be installed? Can I just plug the OBD port in and connect it to the control unit? Or do I have to install EVERYTHING? Second, does Edge support any type of upgrade program to swap out the programmer that i have now for one that will work with the new 2015 Chevy? Thanks in advance for your expert advice!

You will want to plug all of the Juice with Attitude, # EP33DR, back into the 2011 Dodge Ram diesel and return it to stock if it will let you. In the event that it does not let you would have to call Edge tech support directly.

There is no Juice with Attitude option for the 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500 diesel so the programmer that you have will not fit. If you choose to sell the programmer, it will fit the following vehicles:

2010 - 2012 Ram 2500 6.7L I6 Diesel Engine - Turbocharged
2010 - 2012 Ram 3500 6.7L I6 Diesel Engine - Turbocharged
2010 - 2012 Ram 4500 6.7L I6 Diesel Engine - Turbocharged
2010 - 2012 Ram 5500 6.7L I6 Diesel Engine - Turbocharged
2008 - 2009 Sterling Bullet 6.7L I6 Diesel Engine - Turbocharged
2007 - 2012 Dodge Ram Pickup 6.7L I6 Diesel Engine - Turbocharged

For a new user to be able to use the programmer they would have to re-register it with Edge and pay a fee for doing so.
