Recommended Weight Distribution System For Lance 1575 Trailer With 600 Lbs Tongue Weight

Question:
I have a Lance 1575 TT and want a trunion style WDH but the A-frame on the 1575 is tapered, measuring 3inch vertically nearest to coupler, to 5inch near body of trailer. Although Id prefer a WDH utilizing link plates as opposed to snap-ups, the differing frame dimensions could present a mounting problem. Im looking for a WDH with a tongue rating of 600 lb. Which WDHs would you recommend?

For your Lance 1575 Trailer, I recommend the Curt Weight Trunnion Style Weight Distribution System with Shank, part # 17301. This is a trunnion style system that can work with a trailer with up to 800 lbs tongue weight. This system comes with the shank that fits 2 inch receivers and has a maximum rise of 6 inches to the maximum drop of 2 inches. since the brackets slip over the top of the frame, you should have no problem attaching the brackets that the chains attach to.
I have attached a helpful article that explains weight distribution you can check out.
