Hello Grant, you are on the right track, but the Weigh Safe Hitch Receiver Locking Pin # WS54CR would be just a hair too short for that Demco channel coupler. Instead, you will need something with closer to a 3-1/2" to 4" span, and for that I recommend the following:
- Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Lock w/ Pick-Proof Key - 3" Hitches - Flush - 4" Span - Zinc # 63260
