Question:

Can the Kuat Ibex be mounted on a truck with the BAK Revolver cover w/ the T-slot rails and provide the clearance to roll up the cover? Specifically, on a 21 Ford Super Duty if it makes a difference.

Hey Lee, yes you can use the Kuat Ibex in the t-slots of your Bak Revolver but you would need to use the tonneau cover rail adapter kit part # KU27ZR which adapts it's mounting hardware to fit into the Bak rails.

Thanks. I'm assuming by saying 'yes' that also means the BAK will clear the IBEX when rolled up? I was also looking at the Putco Tec Rails, which seem to be compatible with my BAK Revolver. Would it be an option to mount the IBEX rack on the Tec Rail instead of using the BAK rail kit?

@LeeM Yes it does. I wish I could post a picture that I found in a forum but the Bak will roll up and not interfere with the IBEX. We don't carry the Putco Tec Rails so it's hard to say if that would work too.

@JamesonC Can you post a link or site which forum you found photos? I have a 2025 Tacoma with the BAK Revolver X4TS and trying to see if their T slot adapter would let me mount the Ibex and still be bale to roll up. Kuat's list doesn't specifically support this combo but from what I can eyeball it should "work" even if the rubber seals of the X4TS would rub when rolling it up. Can you provide any info for my use case?
