The Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11140585 is designed for the following vehicles:

- 2008 - 2009 Mercury Sable
- 2008 - 2009 Ford Taurus Sedan

Since there aren't any custom fit harnesses for your 2018 John Deere Gator XUV 835 I recommend using the following universal parts:

- Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C59236
- Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connectors # DW05744-5

The heat shrink butt connectors will be used to replace the quick-splice connectors since these wiring connections need greater protection on a Gator, and then the Curt wiring has an additional wire to use if the brake light signal is separated from the turn signal. Finally, the black wire will be connected to your 12V battery so the trailer lights don't overdraw the wiring circuits on your Gator.

I also recommend trying to mount the module in a place where it will be least exposed to the elements.
