Will the Malone Cargo12 Rooftop Cargo Box Work On a 2017 Lexus RX 350

I want to put this on my 2017 Lexus 350rx. I have factory installed Lexus roof rack 24 or 25inch apart. Is this appropriate product and how well will it fit?

The Malone Cargo12 Rooftop Cargo Box part # MPG901 is compatible with a vehicle that has between a 25" to 27" crossbar spread. The crossbar spread is measured from the center of the front crossbar to the center of the rear crossbar. If the crossbar spread is any less than this then it would not be able to support the weight of the cargo box while loaded. I did some additional research on your 2017 Lexus RX 350 and it looks like there is a section of rubber on the side rails that the factory crossbars install into, towards the front which limits the spread. This is called a sunroof stop and it can be removed to get a wider spread and this will allow you to make the Malone Cargo12 Rooftop Cargo Box work.
