For mud service tire chains on your Tacoma equipped with 265/70-17 tires a good choice is the Titan # TC2228 with twisted links on a ladder pattern set.
A better option is the Pewag # PWE2439S mud service chains with all aquare links. These chains have a much more aggressive grip. Either way, add the # PW105 rubber tensioners to help keep them centered and tight.
