Question:
I have a 2011 silverado z71 with 4inch lift kit. I want to install firestone airbags part # 2430 no drilling required. I find there are two different versions of this kit, one that uses hooks on the bottom mounting plate and one that uses brackets. Which one do I need? And which spacers are compatible with either airbag kit. Im only seeing the spacers part # F2371

The Firestone Ride-Rite Helper Spring # F2430 attaches with brackets but also comes with J-bolts (hooks) that attach the lower bracket to the axle jounce pad. When you install the air lines it is necessary to drill a 5/16 inch hole. This step is documented in figure -D- of the installation instructions which are attached. When installing the air tubes, even though it seems really easy to cut them squarely, a Tubing Cutter # AL10530 may interest you. Perfectly square cuts will provide a more reliable seal.
The Firestone # F2430 is listed twice on the website fit guide since it fits both 2WD and 4WD models. The kit is exactly the same for both models of truck. I have attached an installation video of helper spring # F2430 on a 2011 Chevy Silverado.
My technical contact at Firestone was able to confirm compatibility of the Firestone Helper Springs # F2430 and Firestone Lift Spacer # F2371 for your 2011 Chevy Silverado. Both of these items are axle mounted.
You can either adjust the air pressure levels manually or you could use the Firestone Command II # F2158 which has a compressor that you can control from the cab of your truck. I have also attached an installation video of this system on a 2011 Silverado. The Command II system is a popular option, but it is not required for manual inflation of the air bags.
Last, I have attached two FAQ articles that cover the basics of the Firestone Air-Spring Kits and also the Firestone Air Command Kits that will give your more information.
