Towing Package For A 2021 Volkswagen Arteon

Question:
I have a 2021 VW Arteon. I am looking for a class II tow hitch but all I seem to find are class I hitches on your site. The towing capacity according to VW is 1800kg. So do you have a hitch, and plug n play wiring harness available to me? If so, please point me the right direction. Thank you in advance for your reply.

The class 2 trailer hitch is not available anywhere. Your vehicle is rated for the class 1 only. The Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # DR97FR is the only hitch we have available for your vehicle. Per the manufacturer of the hitch it's what is recommended for your 2021 VW Arteon.
The trailer hitch has a bolt-on installation with no welding required. It has a black powder coat finish which covers the e-coat base which offers a superior rust protection.
The trailer hitch has a gross trailer weight up to 2,000 pounds and has a maximum tongue weight up to 200 pounds.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK37FR will give you a 4-flat connector which has a plug and play installation.
The T-One connector will plug into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the tail lights on both the driver's-side and passenger's-side. You will need to remove the tail lights to access this harness.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease # 11755 on all electrical connections, the plugs on the vehicle and on the 4-pole connector itself. This will help prevent corrosion.
