Determining Wheelbase of 2018 Momentum 349M to Pick Out MORryde SRE4000

Question:

I am preparing to purchase and install a MORryde #SRE4000 suspension system and all new leaf springs on my 2018 Momentum 349M. Grand Design cannot provide me with the wheel base dimension of 33inch or 35inch and since my leaf is broken and the axels are not in the original position a cannot get an accurate measurement. Grand Design did tell me I have a 7,000lb Dexter Axel with a #072-09802 leaf springs. I need guidance and was hoping for your assistance. Should I get the unit for a 35inch and the direct Dexter #072-098-02 leaf springs replacements. I wish to up grade my shackles with 3-1/8inch HD shackles from MORryde. I have one leaf that measures 25-1/4inch off of the trailer with approximately 10,000 miles on it.

I spoke with MORryde about this recently and they said there's a way you can measure the hanger locations of your trailer suspension to determine which SRE4000 you'd need. I attached a picture that shows where to measure as it's the outside leaf spring hanger bolt holes. If this distance measures 59”, the trailer has a 33” wheelbase. If the distance is 61”, this is a 35” wheelbase.

The 35 inch wheelbase MORryde kit is the part # MR47ZR or if it's 33 inch it's part # MR97ZR.
